Who is the Joker?

 

The Joker is a fictional supervillain who usually appears in American comic comics published by DC comics. The Joker was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson for their Batman comic book series and first showed up in the first issue of the book Batman on April 25, 1970. In the Batman comics, the Joker is often shown as a thin, dark-skinned villain whose real name is James Gordon and he uses various methods of intimidation to try and get a fight or a peace between him and either the Batman or Batwoman. He is portrayed as extremely dangerous and his motivations are usually selfish or at least illogical.

Most of the time, the Joker appears as a clown with a knife and a cape he calls "Joker" but in other instances, the Joker can be a very dramatic character who uses various schemes in order to gain attention or to try to make someone else feel bad about themselves like in the case of the" Joker's Laughing Joker" in some episodes of the television show Gotham. There are several different types of characters that are considered to be the Joker's equals or close companions including: The Riddler, the Joker's loyal henchman Two-Face, The Penguin, Catwoman, The Green Hornet, The Joker's sometime love interest Rachel Dawes and many more. Most of these characters have their own set of powers and abilities which help to make them the Joker's equals. However, they are not as close as other associates of the Joker and are usually not as experienced as he is. There is actually only one member of this group that is considered truly experienced enough to be compared to the Joker888 and that is The Joker's henchman Two-Face.

In some versions of the truth, the joker has been said to have three original names. One was derived from two of his first victims, which was The Joker's real name in the original stories and The Phantom. Another name was based on a story arc in which he was obsessed with eating an entire trainload of live chickens. The third name came from a confrontation between The Joker and Wonder Woman in which he used his charm to get himself taken into the Amazon where he was consumed by an Amazonian tribe. The origin story gave rise to the "word about three jokers" which became a popular nickname for the Joker. This is the reason why in most modern comics, the Joker is often referred to as being a "joker" or a" Joker."

There are several theories about the origin of the three jokers. Some say that it comes from the fact that The Joker had a real name, which was based on the word "joy" which The Joker's second victim, Harvey Dent, used in his disguise as The Joker in the very first Batman story arc. Since The Joker always claimed to be the only son of a wealthy family, it was likely that he adopted the same real name as a way of making himself seem wealthy.

In another theory, the name originated when a rich friend of James Gordon asked Jim Gordon to help him get a trip to Las Vegas because it was feared that there would be trouble in Las Vegas as a result of an outbreak of rabies. To get out of it, Gordon asked his friend, "What would you do, The Joker or Albert?" The story was later changed to "The Joker" to make it more interesting, but the name stuck. Many fans also believe that The Joker was actually an alter ego of another person that was introduced into the Batman world, namely the scarred and intimidating Batman villain, The Red Hood. With the introduction of both The Joker and The Red Hood, the popularity of The Joker trivia has grown.

Several different versions of the origin of The Joker have surfaced over the years. Some say that the real joker was an evil scientist who created the chemical laced with venom in the "death breath" of criminals. Others say that the Joker was actually an insane psychiatrist, while many others believe that he was actually a super hero, known as the Riddler. Regardless of which version of the truth is true, one thing is for certain: the Joker has become one of Batman's most iconic villains. From his appearance in the very first Batman comic to his many appearances throughout the various Dark Knight movies, the Joker has captivated audiences around the world.
